Describe how you will meet the criteria above We are able to view persons entering Emergency Services via the video camera system and monitors that are in place in the offices of Emergency Services. This gives us the ability to have the heads up to anyone who enters. Class and meeting size will be adjusted to meet the social distancing guidelines.

What types of positions may do remote work-from-home? Anyone assigned to Emergency Services has the technology and ability to work from home at any given time. It is the discretion of the Director or his assistant to schedule employees to work from home.

Identify the designated areas within this location The Emergency Entrance is the designated area for pick up and deliveries. Access is limited by the card access system.

We will continue to utilize this process including the temperature screening area upon entering the EOC area.

Process

Screening

All employees shall self-monitor and check his or her temperature every 12 hours whether at work or at home. Yes

All employees shall also undergo a pre-shift temperature screening when reporting to work at the beginning of each shift. Yes

All employees shall report at the beginning of each shift to a central designated point of entry which shall be determined by the County Administrator. Yes

For employees that do not report to a physical building and instead travel from home to places in the community, each shall perform a pre-shift temperature screening before each shift. Leaving the home and reporting to your work site is the equivalent of your attestation that you are without a fever. Yes

Symptom Screening

If you have any of the following symptoms, staff shall not enter the workplace and shall contact his or her supervisor and refer the employee to contact the EOC nurse. Yes

Where is the designated point of entry for this/each location within your department The designated point of entry will be the Emergency Services door and the pre screening area will be the current EOC screening area located outside the Veterans Office.

How will you implement the pre-shift temperature screening and symptom screening at each location in accordance with Directive 11-2020? All Employees will per-screen when they enter the Emergency Services area at the beginning of there shift. If the employees travels within the building they must have a mask and where it when social distancing can not be maintained. If the employee leaves the building they must upon re entry per-screen again.
