-All staff will participate in an COVID-19 training assigned by HR or furthermore as offered/required by state oversight agencies as arranged, tracked and recorded by Staff Development Coordinator and/or HR Director
-Cubicles and office space currently allow for appropriate social distancing of at least 6 ft. Staff will be directed to wear face coverings whenever they leave their desks/work stations to enter hallways, stairwells and restrooms.
-markings will be placed on the floor near the reception area to stress social distancing and seating will be adjusted to 6 ft. spacing.
-Staff who are able to work at home and/or in the field in accordance with state requlatory guidance and IT capabilities will do so.

Staff who have provided medical documentation indicating high risk for severe illness will be accommodated on a case by case basis through various options including telework, limited public contact, job sharing and/or other means. County Attorney, HR and ADA Compliance Officer will be resourced as necessary.
As program regulations allow, staff will interact telephonically or electronically as much as possible with the public. Conference rooms where meetings are held will be limited in size so as to allow for social distancing. Most work is on one-on-one in interview booths where glass partisans are in place between client and worker.

Employment Specialists can work from home with existing technology and telephones however where the internet service is too slow, unreliable or unavailable, they may not be able to work from home.

Document exchange can be done in some cases by mail. Where they need to be brought to the office, a glass barrier between staff and clients exists in the DSS portion of the location.

Existing work spaces already provide 6 ft. social distancing with glass barriers between worker and client in most instances.
Interview booths can be shared among workers when client interaction is necessary. Markings on the floor will assist visitors with maintaining social distance. Signs will encourage social distancing and face coverings.

Employees may enter through the main entrance to the building or through the employee entrance.
The public will enter through the main entrance to the building and will be directed to the reception area for DSS clients.
A forehead scanner thermometer has been requested from EOC. When received, staff will be directed to scan themselves upon arrival and self-report and reading above 100 degrees to their supervisor and the EOC. They will not enter the workplace if their temperature is 100 degrees and will follow guidance provided by EOC staff.
The public will be scanned at reception and will not be permitted to enter the work site if their temperature is 100 degrees or higher.
